  1. You'll seriously want the catheter after surgery. Pumped full of IV fluids and groggy. No way would I have made it to the bathroom that many times that first night. One walk that night wiped me out.
  2. Had a few ounces of rotisserie chicken and a slice of tomato.
  3. I have had really annoying gas pain in my left side for two days. Ugh. No bueno.
  4. So funny how every doctor is so different. As long as I get 65g protein a day I can have whatever I want carb wise.
  5. Those FlatOut sandwich things work well for pizza too. Low carb and have protein.
  6. I love these! I eat one every day.
  7. Nauseated today ever since breakfast. Had some oatmeal which has never been a problem before. Tried to drink a protein shake and couldn't finish it. Just took some zofran, hoping it helps, especially since I'm at work.
  8. I'm eating more now too but I don't think it's unreasonable. We were probably really swollen after surgery and have just healed. I asked a friend of mine who is 10yrs post op and she said my pouch isn't broken or anything, and plus the pounds are still coming off.
  9. Had an appointment with my surgeon today following up after my cicatrix and stricture removal. Said I should have no problems now! Also said my weight loss was more what they expect at two months! Blew my mind, I thought I was slow at 25ish lbs in a month. Said I can start eating solid food, just to take it slow. Relieved but terrified and don't know where to start! He said slow cooked or rotisserie chickens are good. He was surprised I can do eggs already and thinks since I can I shouldn't have much trouble.
  10. I think I'm constipated too. I haven't gone much the past few days and have been having some cramps in my lower belly. This is definitely not a problem I've ever had before. But it sure is uncomfortable.
  11. Try an iron pill that also has a stool softener.
  12. Struggling too! Ugh! Especially the last two nights. Feels like I didn't sleep at all, just looked at the clock every hour.
  13. I've tried with the fruit and it just didn't do it for me. I don't know if its the texture or what. Weird because I love both yogurt and cheese!
  14. Ugh me too. I've tried and I just can't find a way that I think it tastes good.
  15. I had some Hormel White Chicken Chili with some shredded cheddar and light sour cream.
  16. Wanted to clean my whole apartment. Got my pantry and most of my kitchen done and my belly feels like I did a million sit ups. I still have so much to do. Ugh!
  17. Didn't realize til after I made it and drank it that my breakfast smoothie had 19g sugar. Thanks, My Fitness Pal. It's been like 45 minutes and I'm not sick, hopefully that means I'll be ok.
  18. I've heard of it but haven't tried it. Very curious tho. I could die for a piece of bread with some cheese or butter right now lol.
  19. I find I normally need to eat 4 times to get enough protein and calories in. Otherwise I'm exhausted. I'm about 5 weeks post op.
