  1. Hey Chantelle I'm on 24th of January too!! Good luck keep me posted
  2. I have finally decided to have my lapband done . But I'm often annoyed but the amount of people that failed to loose weight or had loads of complications coming forward and kinda saying to no1 to do it because it doesn't work or you going to have too many complications and it is not worth it. Or as well the studies done which mostly ain't very feasible saying that mostly there is no success with banded patients. Do you think the same? Is it not annoying?
  3. Hello I am having my band on the 24th of January in the hospital group. I don't know who is my surgeon yet but I will all let you know. Is anyone been banded at this time. Anyone has any updates??? Thank you
  4. Anyone getting banded in manchester uk??
  5. Hello sunshine thank you so much for your message, I haven't done my surgery yet but I will be doing in January in manchester. Where did you have it done? How you feeling? I hope everything goes amazing with you.
  6. Congratulationssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! You look great!!!!!!!
  7. I have to a low bmi 31.9, and I'm going to surgery, I have struggled with my weight since I was 11. I am now 21 and I believe in prevention as I believe in cure. I don't want to be 31 and then wishing I done this surgery 10 years ago. I am a very motivated person but when dieting hard I seem to get stuck on 11st6 and it won't go down which is frustrating. I am 5ft1 and my 12st4 weight doesn't belong to me!!! I would though suggest that you are mentally prepared for the changes on your diet, because the band ain't a miracle but a tool. A tool that I need the help to succeed, and with my determination I know I will. In uk people with 30 bmi over are allowed this surgery but self pay. Hope you make the right decision for you

  9. My advise to you will be IGNORE IT! You doing this for yourself and nobody else. Do the people that said all this to you are going trough what you are? No. You more than anyone knows what you want. I find it as well that most of the comments like this are from people that are jealous that you going to loose weight. Believe me when I was on a diet people told me to stop because I would look ill if I was skinny, and I don't suit being skinny. Well they only are afraid we are making progress and looking better than them
