Mine is only a 10.

When you say the band won't provide its magic till you start getting fills, you might want to say everyone is different. I was banded on December 21st, I have not had a fill and as of today I have lost 53 pounds.

So far I have not been hungry between meals, and many times I have to remind myself that I need to eat.

I was banded on Dec 21 and today I went to my Dr to get my first fill. The Happy part of this for me is that since my surgery date I have lost 42lbs. The Disappointed part was my Dr did not want to give me a fill. He said that I have a small band to begin with and if I'm losing without anything he did not want to change things. He wants me to come bank in 6 more weeks. So my question here is should I have insisted that he put something in my band? Howard

Dr. Chau was also my surgeon, and yes I definately agree about Miriam. She makes the whole process painless.

Danielle, I also got banded at the new hospital in Princeton. The nurses and staff were great there. Who is your DR?

I am also in Central Jersey. East Brunswick.

Tomorrow (Friday) is finally here and I will be getting banded at 10:30AM. I am very nervous and excited. I cant wait to start this new chapter of my life.

Hey Guys, I am being banded this Friday in Princeton. Very excited!!

This might be a silly question but I will ask it anyway. I am getting banded on Friday and I have seen people mention there bandages over the scars. My question is can you shower right away with the bandages on or do you have to wait a few days?

I am also getting banded on the 21st. I am very excited. My Dr has me doing the pre-op diet for only one week before surgery.

I received my call from my doctor this weekend that i have been approved and my surgery is set for Dec. 21. I am very excited.
