I had lapband surgery Jan 10th. I'm from Albertville, so I used to Dr. Britt. He is in Guntersville at Surgical Associates of Marshall County. I love him! It is by far the best descision I have ever made. If your near Birmingham, I have heard good things about Dr. Scott Pennington at Trinity Medical Center. He has done some other surgeries on my mom. I really like him and his bedside manor. Good luck with your journey!

It took me a week to sleep in my bed. I slept in the recliner every night. I did have a lot of gas pain in my left should so i couldn't get comfortable laying in the bed bc believe me I tried every night!

Today is day 5 post op for me. I actually went back to work yesterday. I will say I'm extremely tired. You could probably attend the party, but I wouldn't want to stay for a long period of time. Good luck with your surgery!

I had my surgery Thursday and I have barely eaten since. I need suggestions on this liquid post op diet. I barely eat or drink anything I just can't make myself. I've lost 8 pounds since Thursday.

I had my surgery this morning. I'm doing really good. Got home around 2pm and just been resting and trying to walk as much as possible. I have only taken pain medicine once since I got home. If I could get rid of all this "gas" pain I would be doing so much better! So glad to finally be on the other side.

At the hospital now, getting prepared for surgery!
