I have Aetna In ny . I called them after 2 weeks and got a verbal approval. Otherwise had to wait by mail.

Doctors have been doing plication surgery for many many years.. But for other reasons. They find it gives almost the same effect as sleeve surgery + lap band and cuts down on hunger after surgery. Also they are not cutting into your Stomach. They fold it Into 1/3 and put sutures in .. This is always reversible.

You can also find out about lap band with plication. People are doing real well with it and have much fewer slippages.

I got approved within 3 weeks. They gave me a verbal over the phone.

I'm not sure if this woman particularly works in the office because she just takes care of billing for this one nutritionist. It seemed like she more works for the hospital....I'm not going to lose any sleep....everyone is entitled to a crappy day once in a while. Lol

Sorry about the rant but......why are staff in doctors offices always look so stressed and angry? I don't get it. I called about a bill and the lady freaked. It's not like I was calling her for fun...I needed to ask a legit question....RELAX!!

Can someone tell me what the best tasting "calcium+d" chewable is and the best tasting "multivitamin" chewable is.....I bought centrum chew and oscal+d chewable but I am not thrilled with either.

Hey I was diagnosed with gastroparesis about five years ago. I had the test where you eat radiated scrambled eggs and they take pics of it going through. My doctor put me on Bentyl and I didn't react we'll to it, the next pill I got was from Canada (don't remember the name). I was always very bloated and nothing really helped. Years after being on the pills I slowly got taken off of everything. I am much better now. I really hope your doctor picks a treatment that is right for you. Feel better. P.s. eat small meals throughout the day and drink plenty of Water, it will help you.
