    The doctor took off about 5 lbs of excess skin. He pulled down the skin from above the belly button but didnt tighten any muscles like a tummy tuck would. I still have the same beautiful effects as if he did tighten the muscles as in a "tummy tuck" . My lap band scar from the port is now down next to my new belly button as before it was right under my rib cage... I had a breakdown of the skin or "rash" that just wouldnt stay away. I do alot of standing and sitting and the band around my pants would rub against my waist until it became sore and raw.. thas how my insurance covered the panni..

    I had a panniluctomy tuesday and that did the trick for me.. my insurance covered it

  4. kacee, how tall are you? I'm 5'9 and also am in a size 12. 3.1 ccs in a 4cc band.. thinking I might need a little "tweek" havent moved the scale in almost 3 months but the inches are comming off.

  7. hi there, I too am from Michigan (Saginaw) and I was banded in March.. My advice to you is to walk, walk, walk. The more you walk the faster the better you'll feel.. Also stay positive and true.. You'll be just fine.. and Good luck!!!
  8. I was banded 3-21-07. no problems what soever.. had 1st fill 5/18/2007.. 1 cc in a 4cc band.. not alot of restriction.. lost only 4 lbs. 6/19/2007 had another 1 cc for a total of 2 ccs. (ost 5 lbs since 2nd fill) pbed next am because the pill i took was to large. been keeping everything down ok until last night.. think i drank my milk to fast.. I pbed a lil. I do feel a slight tightness in my chest from time to time.. nothing major.. is this normal? do you think I am too tight? I am comfortable with the resriction though.dont want to get anymore fills at this point.. ..any suggestions/comments would greatly be appreciated... thanks everyone!!:help:

  10. Judy thats awesome!!! I am so proud of you and hubby.. I'm down 25 lbs since march.. Just recieved my 2nd fill 6-19..(now 2cc in 4cc band) ..p.bed 2ce.. 1) pill was too big, 2)drank too fast..ugh!!!

  12. ok everybody.. I could use some help.. I was banded 4 weeks ago. I am walking, and doing my water and everything else I am suppose to.. I went to the doctor yesterday for my 1st post op visit.. I about cried when I stepped on the scale..6 lbs.. I was devistated!!!! Do you think I should get some of that phentermine like Cascadian? I am devestated!!!!
  13. I'm all for Dr Boutt and the staff in Port Huron... The tiniest question- they answered...... Anything I needed before / after surgery - they did it.... Support groups- they got em,......... experience- plenty, ...kindness, professionalism,... personality, ......- they have it ALL!!! Port Huron hospital... WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!:first: :clap2:
