Frustraited
I know this is a little late but I agree with everyone else, counting calories is a must. A thousand calories a day is plenty when eating the right things and please don't stop walking. I lost 90 pounds just walking and counting calories before my surgery as the insurance made me wait 6 months. Challenge yourself a little bit everyday, if you were able to go up a little hill today do a bigger hill tomorrow. I used to say to myself ill make myself sweat a little bit more tomorrow. Good luck on your journey. Best wishes.

- WEIGHT LOST
I have the same problem. I have lost my thighs and my behind. I since I have lost weight every where else that my belly will be next.- How Did You Decide You Were Through Being Fat
I always thought I was happy with myself inside and out but in reality it was just a cover up not to deal with my weight. I was always walking behind in family outings, I couldn't run after my 2 year old daughter and I was 100 pounds heavier than my husband. I decided to look into WLS and when I went to my first app and stepped on the scale for the first time, it read 299.5. I was shocked almost 300 pounds, I cried and decided enough was enough. 8 months later I had the surgery and today I said goodbye to the 220's. best thing I could of done. Stepping on that scale really opened my eyes to the level of denial that I was living.- Sorry To Have To Ask This Nut Just Curious If This May Have Happened To You

Hi everyone I am getting banded on October 17. My surgeon has me on a 1000 calorie a day pre op. I was wondering if anyone else had to do the same. I do see that most banders had a liquid diet before surgey. I am eating low fat high Protein but worry that might my liver will still be fatty.- What Are You Looking Forward To Most?
