  1. Needing some post op (almost one year) support. Only lost 30 pounds. Help!!!
  2. Banded October 10th. Feel like my appetite is back with a vengeance. Don't know if I did the right thing. have to keep the compression band on all the time or I feel like I am pushing out my port.
  3. Well, we got my platelets up enough to do the surgery yesterday. Was a bit frustrating being NPO past midnight before with a 1230 surgery time. Especially since they didn't get to me until after 4. Woke up in quite a bit of pain but it has been managed pretty easily. Haven't been able to get up and about since they gave me my night time meds pretty much as soon as i got to the floor last night. But I just cant sleep more than 30-45 min. at a time. Should go home sometime today, will keep everyone posted. Hope everyone has a great day, especially anyone getting done today!
  4. Im having an issue, im day 6 pre op and have done what im supposed to I think, but my morning meds are causing me trouble (my everyday count is 5 pills am and 7 pm pills) . When I take my morning meds I am supposed to eat with them. Im finding that even immediately after a shake or soup, I am nauseaous and end up expelling them. Im also worried about after the surgery, isn't it going to be almost impossible to get them down? Is there anyone else who has dealt with anything like this?
