4 1/2 mths post op- HALLOWEEN! :-) PICS!
Hey Pokey! I can't lie but I really haven't been doing a whole lot of working out. I will do a little cardio here and there but that is about it. :-( I REALLY need to get on top of working out again in hopes that I can lose the last 18 pounds to reach my goal and hopefully work on some toning. But I have definitely been a bad girl and haven't been working out at all.

4 1/2 mths post op- HALLOWEEN! :-) PICS!
So I am coming up on five months post-op now... (Surgery date June 10th) I had VSG done and I have never been happier. I have had ZERO complications, no throwing up, now problems drinking fluids, no adverse reactions to any type of foods (except of course anything with too high fat or sugar), and I just broke through today a seven week stall I have been in!!! This past weekend we had a halloween party and for the first time in my life I was able to buy a costume that wasn't PLUS SIZE and it felt great! :-) I'm just not used to buying size medium anything still! So here's some before and afters.. For the first time in my life I actually felt like a pretty girl at the party instead of hiding in the crowd! Starting weight: 262 Surgery weight: 224.9 Current weight: 168 Height: 5'5" Pants starting: 22 Shirts starting: 2XL/3XL Pants current: 8 Shirts current: M/L

Have You Experienced the 3 Month Stall?
Hey Perry! Don't feel bad; I'm at three months out right now and also have been stalled for going on three weeks now. It's definitely getting frustrating. If anyone else has advice on how to jumpstart/break through the stall it would be much appreciated!

Onederland!
@@prbaby28 my surgeon doesn't allow for us to drink protein shakes. I am only allowed to eat 3 meals a day, a 1/4 of some kind of protein. and the only other thing I do is drink water, propels, or zero vitamin waters.(I do sugar free Popsicles still just to try and get my fluids in. I'm not doing anything special by any means. I have been stalled now since I posted this tread (so five days).. I have started getting back in the gym but very slowly.

Hiccups
I get them all the time but not so much around when I'm eating.. More so when drinking and breathing.. Very annoying and frustrating.

Crossing your legs
Congrats to you! that's one of my favorite parts! I do it all the time when I'm sitting now. ????

Squats
I wouldn't push anything until your doctors say so! just walk walk walk!

How do you know you're full?
I was concerned at two weeks post because I never felt "full" and I seemed to have no problems taking liquids. But even now that I'm on solid foods I don't know necessarily what "full" is. I stick to a 1/4 cup but sometimes I don't eat it all because I don't want to push it. This may sound weird but my signal seems to be when I burp. For whatever reason that's when I know enough is enough.

Onederland!
What are your stats? My highest in January was 262. On the pre-op diet I lost a lot! On surgery day (June 10th) I was 224.9. And today I am stalled at 198.5... So in 4 weeks I lost 26.4 pounds.

Onederland!
Thank you everyone for your kind works and encouragement! I am so excited at how things are going. My husband thinks I am the "poster child" of successful recovery. I have had no complications this far, no vomiting, no aversions or problems with any foods I have eaten so far. My only problem is making sure I get enough fluids in! :-) Weight loss seems to be slowing quickly but I haven't started back strong in the gym yet. Here's to hoping the next 40 pounds comes off just as easily and quickly! :-)

Help ..I cant loose the last 4 pounds needed to be approved
Hello- I too am at Kaiser Richmond w/Dr. Baggs. I started this process back in 2013 but ended up switching jobs so I lost my vacation and my insurance. I have gone back and forth since then. I have 17 pounds to lose and I am hoping that i can get in for surgery at the end of March so I feel for you. I have been following their diet plan and have been working out and the weight is just not coming off! : -( (I struggle with PCOS which makes losing weight extremely difficult). I hope that you are getting close to your goal!

Any South San Francisco Kaiser Sleevers
I'm bummed, there seems to be so many SSF kaiser people, I'm at Kaiser Richmond. Had orientation Sep 28, appointment with surgeon Oct 4, psychology appointment Oct 31, and now I'm waiting. I went and did my blood tests and nicotine test last week. Passed everything, but because I smoked cigarettes I have to have quit for 12 weeks before they will give me the green light I guess. The quitting wasn't hard because I really want this but frustrated to have to wait so long. It'll be 7 weeks on Saturday. I'm curious tho what everyone had to do after they met their goal weight and did labs and the psychology appointment? Will I have to do more classes or just get to schedule my appointment with the case manager after I get the green light from my surgeon from the twelve weeks and my weight? Thanks everyone for any advice, I appreciate any info and advice.
