You're looking great!! Your face and neck is so much more defined! I was just sleeved 6/18. I'll be 1 week out exactly tomorrow. Pictures like yours keep me inspired. I have no clue what I would even look like as a smaller person. I've always been heavy.

Hi there, I just had my sleeve done 6/18 and I'm 4 days postoperative. As far as what to pack I wouldn't overdo it. I took a lot more than I actually even touched while in the hospital. The things I brought and used was Chapstick, phone charger, small comfortable pillow for traveling and the clothes I wore home are the same ones I wore to the hospital. Each time I walked the halls I wore a second hospital gown overtop. I wast able to wear anything else very easily due to the IVs. I also was provided non skid socks but wore flip flops to and home from the hospital Good luck!!

Try a warm heating pad on the shoulder and continue walking. It should help it subside. Hope you feel better soon! I was just sleeved on 6/18

Good luck!! I just had mine done 6/18! All went wonderfully I'm on POD #3 and things are already getting even better. Let me know if there is anything I can help with since I just went through it and I am still going through it.

Thank you! I am also happy we are both home Already. I am sipping like crazy but its very intimidating to think I need 64 oz at least when I have to sip such small amounts. Do you feel that way at all? I haven't been able to sleep more than 1-2 hours at a time and then I wake up and do some walking around my house and then head back to bed. Seems to be helping with my gas pains. Sorry to hear about your back. Hoping we both have speedy recoveries!

Thank you! My surgery went very well and I actually came home the evening after on 6/19th which was a pleasant surprise. Have you had your surgery already?

I'm so excited. Finished up my last meal of full liquid diet now and tomorrow is the big day! Have to be at the hospital by 5:30 in the morning. I'm so excited to start this new chapter in my life!! Good luck to all my fellow June 18th sleevers!!! We will rock this!

Had my "last supper" last evening and made it worth it. Didn't go overboard really just made it something tasty that I may not have again for a while. Tomorrow first day of week long full liquid diet. It's getting so close now!! June 18th can't come soon enough!!

Had such a busy day yesterday. I had my history and physical/ last appt with my surgeon. I am completely cleared now for surgery June 18th! Consent signed and everything! Starting pre-op diet June 11th. Definitely not looking forward to that, but I can and WILL do it! So excited!!

Make sure you drink drink drink. Headaches are a sign of dehydration. Also don't do too much strenuous activity/ exercise. You don't have the calories to allow for it.

I too got the idea from Pinterest! It's an awesome motivator! Haven't been sleeved yet (June 18th) but came in handy staying on track so far. Had a lot of fun decorating mine also!

I'm more excited now than nervous. Feel like I've been preparing and reading and studying and researching everything that all that's left now is to have the surgery! I'm anxious, but mostly excited. How about you? I'm from Harrisburg, PA
