Thanks for the replies. I am going to ask for general anesthesia. I am so afraid they won't give me enough local and I will be awake feeling everything. Thanks for helping me decide what to do.

Only have my lapband since October 4th, 2012. I need a Hemorrhoidectomy/ fissure repair. My anesthesia option are local w/ sedation or general. I really don't want to be awake but I am afraid with general they will take my fluid out b4 surgery. I will have 2 fills in my band by surgery. Has anyone had this surgery under only a local. I don't know what to decide. Any info to help me make my decision would be great. Thanks

Same problem here in Lakehurst day 6. I am freezing no power or heat. Sinus infection, nausea no antibiotics. Trying to eat right but no fridge. Can't wait till power comes back on hopefully b4 storm expected on Tuesday. :-(

Hi my surgery is Thursday. Getting very excited but more and more nervous. I have all my clear liquids, gas x strips and liquid Tylenol. I have to work all day tomorrow but then I have to pack a small bag for the hospital and get laundry and any heavy lifting out of the way. It seems like just yesterday I had an entire week to go now just one more day wow I still can't believe it.

That is exactly how I feel. How are you doing on your preop first. I just bought the premiere shakes from costco they got good reviews I can't get used to the powder Protein. It is gritty no matter how I make it.

No I have not but guess where I will head after I am done doing my laundry. :-) Thanks for the suggestion. I really did not want to do soy I really can't handle the after taste. I hope the lactate works otherwise its soy or water. Thanks again I really appreciate your suggestion. Just have to make it past Sunday and I can keep busy at work to keep going.

I use miralax it is a tasteless powder you can add to any liquid. It works pretty gently no bad cramps.

Same day for me too. Just started preop diet. Drinking those protein shakes is a bit harder than I thought it would be.
