  5. At the goodwill?? I'm very thrifty. I live in Louisville and we don't have many Goodwills and the main location stays packed! I may try it while I'm off. Current pre-op wt 344
  6. I have not thought about discount stores to be honest. Being obese in the past I was always disappointed because the clothes did not fit well I was sadden by the fact either I was bigger than I thought or the maker of the clothes has a unrealistic view of sizes. Thanks CHEZNOEL for the suggestion!! Current pre-op wt 344
  7. I know this may sound very vain to some and I'm sorry, but how did many of you deal with the clothing issue doing weight loss? I have always tried to dress nice no matter what size I am. I have gained weight and got approved for the band. I can't wear some of my nice shoes and clothes and have remained steadfast (although its HARD) to not buy any new shoes or clothes for awhile. Can someone help me with suggestions or encouragement? Current pre-op wt 344
  8. I'm not going to judge you. I have not had the band yet and my surgery is Friday. Overall, I decided to get the band due to the ability to have it removed. I read reviews of the sleeve and was not impressed with the results. Please review all the options and rate if success. Although its newer here in the US, its been done elsewhere for awhile. I am concerned about the suture and staple line over the years and the fact that IF you are not diligent in your efforts your stomach will expand again over time. Please know I'm not trying to discourage you, just look on reputable sites before getting any procedure. I chose the lap band after 10 yrs. because of the success rate and complications. I'm not saying wait like I did, but logically look at how successful your procedure will be in the long run. Good luck to you in whatever you decide!! Current pre-op wt 344
  9. You have to do 14 says of the liquid diet? Current pre-op wt 344

  12. Someone was that nasty over a posting? I would have ignored what you said if it was something I did not like. It just shows how ignorant, rude, and self absorbed this society is becoming. Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
