  1. @cindroo....this post must have come in while typing my reply! I have a long family history of hypertension, diabetes and ^cholesterol. My neurosurgeon already said that I may need another laminectomy within 5yrs if I stay the course I am on...I just need to keep my head up...thanks for the words of encouragement....Insurance companies are such a crap shoot
  2. well after reading this i admit i am discouraged... I have no diabetes, sleep apnea,^bp or ^cholesterol...just bad back and knees....
  3. Goodmorning everyone! I am new to the board and love reading all these posts/topics...I am learning sooo much. I have my seminar tomorrow and first consultation is Friday. I looked up my insurance plan online and it looks like they only need 2comorbids and pre-auth. Since I have had 2 back surgeries and 1 knee...I think I have the comorbids covered!??!!? Just nervous....want to get this done ASAP...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK EVERYONE!!
  4. So I started out with tears this morning....tears of joy reading this and knowing exactly how you feel...I cannot wait for the day for my husband to say that to me!! He is behind me with whatever I do...but he is nervous for me and think I should just diet...easier said than done! Keep up the great work!!! and CONGRATULATIONS!!

  6. I am going for my session Sept 10 and my consult Sept 14. I was wondering how long the whole process took for everyone. From consult to surgery. Also, what kind of testing needs to be done before surgery. I know that the session/consult will answer these questions but, I like to have a little knowledge ahead of time! Thanks!
  7. Hi everyone! My name is Jerilyn and will be going for my seminar on Sept 10th. I work nights as a back up supervisor on a busy subacute rehab unit. As I like to tell people, insurance won't keep them in the hospital and they are to sick to go home. I have done the herbalife,ww,optifast diets all with some success. Have had 2 back surgeries and one knee. Not gonna lie...I am very scared...esp since I have taken care of residents who have had sleeves done...etc...with complications...also, I was soooo sick with my last back surgery...OK enough rambling for now!
  8. I am new to this site. I am going for my seminar in one week. Thinking of changing my user name to NervousnellyRN...lol So glad to see this forum. It is answering alot of questions for me! Thank you
