  1. Where did you have your surgery???
  2. Hello Karen, I started out great, dropped 20lbs between the pre-op diet and first fill. Then things were slow going but I wasn't doing everything 100% either. I just went for my 3rd fill, I'm at 3 1/2cc. It still doesn't feel very restrictive but my doctor doesn't want to go higher just yet. So I'm going to be more diligent with my diet and exercise, hopefully the reward will be in the form of scale victories ???Š???Š???Š
  3. Hello All, I had my first fill today, 1.5 cc. Did the water test (sip a little to see if it goes down) it went down but I kinda feel pressure in my chest, is this normal?
  4. carolinagirl thanks for reminding me about the wonderful song and message. This one of my faves by Ms Whitney (RIP) and it's so fitting for this journey, thx again. I had a NSV today, moved a notch on my belt???ƒ!

  6. Hi guys, just had my 2 week follow up, everything went well (yeah). Now I can move to the stage 3 diet, I find myself a little afraid to eat. The nurse recommend chicken salad soooo here goes...... Good luck to you all, thx for being here!
  7. Hi GG, what part of GA are you in? I live in Midway, about 20 mins from Savannah.
  8. Hello All, I was wondering where you guys went? You made a few post in August and stopped. I too had the procedure with a low BMI. I spent 20 yrs in the Army, always on the over weight program. I would lose enough not to get put out. I was tired of the weight gain, weight loss roller coaster, this surgery, I believe is the best thing for me. I wish I could have had it when I was still active duty. I started this journey at 189lbs, my pre-op diet 4 Sep, surgery 17 Sep and today I'm 171. I hesitate to post in the general forums, seem like LBM bandsters aren't received that well. Anyway, good luck to everyone that had chosen this path. I hope to see you on the other side.
  9. Ummm, did I miss something? What is going on?
  10. Hi guys, 2nd day post-op, no appetite. I've only sipped water and had a cpl of popsicles. Is this normal?

  12. Congratulations! Good luck and keep posting.
  13. Hi Guys, I was banded yesterday! The first few hours were a bit rough, but my nursing team was awesome. They were in my room before my finger came off the call button. I'm feeling a lot better today, ready to start my journey.

  15. I'm getting banded Monday the 17th, I'm extremely excited and anxious. sleep won't come easy on Sunday. I was looking for others in the area either pre or post-op. Good luck to all, where ever you are on your journey!
  16. I'm also getting the band on Monday, I'm third on the schedule, Doc says around 11:00 am. I don't think I'll sleep very well Sunday night. Good luck to you all, looking forward to seeing our progress.
