  1. Thank you Lisha73! I did survive, barely...lol. I tried to get my fourth in but couldn't make it all the way through. I drank the rest when I got up today. I went and bought some Nectar in Crystal Sky. I'm hoping it will help break up the monotony of chocolate shakes. I just so want to actually EAT something, ya know? I am so emotional right now and I'm hoping its just my body trying to get used to this.
  2. I haven't tried any of Nectar...I saw them on the bariatric advantage page but wasn't sure about them
  3. 2 weeks of 5 shakes a day. My surgery is on May 14th.
  4. Thanks! I actually couldn't smell nor taste the Protein in this one. I think the coffee helped mask it lol...next up is chocolate Protein shake, strawberries and bananas!
  5. So I'm drinking my first shake (I work nights so this is my "breakfast"). I chose to make a mocha shake. Weird consistency but not bad. Just trying to get it down lol
  6. So you are also 5 shakes only a day? I start mine tomorrow. It's had me worried I will mess something up lol
  7. My surgery date is May 14th. I start my 2 week liquid diet Tuesday. 5 shakes a day only for 2 weeks is not going to be fun...I've already apologized to my co-workers
  8. Is anyone on a full liquid diet for their pre-op using meal replacement shakes? I have to do 3-5 shakes a day having only 700-900 calories a day. I'm trying to figure out how I am going to manage.
  9. Njgurl and ladykirklin...I'm May 14th also! I'm so stoked!
  10. Hi! I'm having my surgery May 14th and go in for my pre-op appt on Thursday, April 25th. Any suggestions on the questions I should ask? I've started a list but I want to make sure I ask everything. This is my first surgery/hospital stay so I really don't know what to expect. Any help is much appreciated!
  11. I'm in Alabama and my surgery is scheduled for May 14th! I'm in Montgomery but having my surgery in Birmingham. Super excited!
  12. Yay! I so wish it would hurry and get here!
  13. I so didn't mean to send that twice. I guess I'm more excited than I thought lol
  14. I'm also May 14th so you have a surgery buddy! I'm so excited!
