Hello everyone are you guys still keeping this chat going. I am looked in Cinti and looking into getting sleeved I was thinking of Dr Curry I have an apt next month. Anyone have suggestions on a doctor you can pm if you want. I am currently 280 so I have clothes size 22 that I can't wait to give away...

Thanks a lot for the info I have set up an appt with dr curry office and it will be in 15 days and have an appt with Dr Watkins office in Feb I thought it would be better to space them out. Yes I have so many questions to ask him

I have been going back and forth on which doctor to go with...one thing I have noticed is that Dr Curry insurance lady knows her stuff and the people that I knew that went to him had to problem getting approved...but I know someone who went to Dr Watkins and said he is really nice person but that the people who did his insurance wasn't as up to date on how long to do the supervised diet because she found out from people at our job that she didn't have to do a 6 month supv diet.......I don't know what to do...Help.....

Hello guys sorry its been long time but busy with work. Yes I am just waiting to hear when I will be approved.. egd schedule next week and we will see from there. I kinda felt rushed the first visit because I had no idea what to ask and it was like bam bam next person in. So guys what was the food that you liked after your nutrition class...I want to write a list of foods that are good. So what kind of questions should I ask when I finally get my nutrition class? If you guys have any and you WANT ME to ask just IM or put it on here. Right now I am looking for a second job because I know how I need the money not sure how much I will have to pay for this surgery. HAPPY :D to see everyone is doing great. I hope to have a successful surgery. Sorry I have not been on here for a while but I will try to come on here at least twice a week. Wish me luck. Love u guys. Hello guys sounds like you guys are doing well. STeph you may want to look on here for food ideas on what to eat I think sometimes the staff gets really busy and forget stuff. I went in about 2 weeks ago and they said they are getting slammed with some many people about to finish and going for approval. I think alot of people are trying to finish before insurance starts. NOW if this is a personal question NO ONE has to answer this but I forgot to ask Amy who do you get to get your approval for FMLA is it Curry or your Primary doctor do anyone of you..you can PM if you like thanks

Hello everyone hope all is well. I am currently going throught the dieticians once all that is done then they will submit to insurance to see if I am approved and right now they say that surgery is about a month or more out so not sure when my surgery will be. I don't want to rush back to work afterwards because I want to make sure I am physical and emotionally prepared once my surgery is done. HOPE ALL IS WELL TTYL

I am looking at Dr Curry I know of a couple of people who did Dr Northrup but by the time I foud out I was already starting with Dr Curry so I will stick it out and I hear Curry is great and from what others said they paid he's a lil higher but oh well. Good luck

hello I see everyone is probably pretty busy with workiing...don't worry fall is right around the corner and we will all be on here comparing our surgeries. I still have to finish my dietary sessions so I think my surgery will be sometime in Nov maybe not sure. But good luck to those who are still waiting

You look great...I think just be patient how many of us can lose that kind of weight in 8mos. YOU LOOK GREAT!!! Cant wait till I can say I have lose that kind of weight in 4months.

Oh my I feel the same way. I feel bad for Iggy and i hope you she comes through this. But at the same time I keep telling myself not to think negative. I still haven't had a date yet BUT GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello everyone happy to hear that you guys are doing great. I know its hard not being able to eat what you want but just think of this by thanksgiving and xmas you will be able to dibble and dabble. So tomorrow I need to call and get an appt set up for my egd I have my second appt coming up so of course i am a lil nervous. Just keep your eye on the prize of losing weight and feeling great. Rach look at you hot mamma... nice pic...I will post mine once I get under 250lb right now both my chins can't fit in the pics.....So do you feel like you have a lil energy? I completely understand what you mean about weight going up and down my highest was about 303lbs and now I got on the scale I am about 287...I have been trying not to buy junk food and eat more meals, since I have been reading on here that It will probably be about a couple of months before I will feel like eating solid foods so I am practing eating more veggies and fruit. I can't wait to have energy so I can finally start to go out a lil more. Not really into the bar scene but maybe some type of single club meeting would be nice. ttyl.

Hello I know in the state of ohio when a friend of mine was trying to find insurance back in 2010 she couldn't find any that would pay for the surgery not sure about NJ hopefully someone in your state can help u. Not sure but maybe if you google u can find something. Good Luck

Oh thats great Steph I was wondering how long you have to stay in the hosp..I am trying to stay positive and with that I am not sure if I want to continue to come on here because unfortunately I have been reading some of the ppl back experiences and YES I know that is the rare....but I have to be honest it scares me a lil and I have sooooooooooooooo much to lose. Hi Ladies and for those of you who surgery is today I hope all is well. Rachel I didn't call you Jim did I??? Sometimes I am a little dingy sorry if I did. So Steph and Jakat I guess you guys are sleeping away right now. How long are you guys taking off? I have been trying to cut back on the carbs and trying to get exercise in but been under the weather recently....but I will SURVIVE. After my succcessful weightloss and surgery I hope to be singing it's RAINING STRAIGHT MEN!!! lol...Yes Steph its sad to hear about Iggy I read what is going on with her and hope all will be well with her. From what I read I guess this is very rare what happen to her. Well guys lets all keep in contact and keep each other motivated!!!!

Oh Steph I bet that is fun to travel on a job I always had hope for a job like that. You know what I feel for Iggy and anyone else who is going through what she is. I have had couple of procedures done in the past and I just put my life in god's hand. WE can have the best surgeon out there but none of us know what may happen. KEEP THE FAITH... You know what WHO F'N cares what these people think. Just remember do you look great? do you feel better? Maybe these caddy people need to grow up and get a life. I don't think alot of us work without or around gossipy people. 9 out 10 times I sit back and listen to what others have to say about people and then you will see for yourself how full of sh*t they really R!!!!!!! You look great keep your head held high and smile. People who are jealous of you hate when you smile at them. hahahaha
