  1. Thank you EVERYONE!!! You have no idea how much your comments have helped me!!!! And I am going to make my husband hide the scale for at least a week!!! This is a huge step for me. It will give me time to focus on just moving and eating right!!! Thanks again everyone!
  2. My surgery was 7/27 and I have lost 29.5 lbs. I have been at that weight for almost a week!!!! I am worried that I won't be able to get the rest of my weight off. Any suggestions???? PLEASE!!!
  3. The way my surgeon put it is that it isn't the size of the stomach is taken out that matters, it's the part that is left in that does. He put the booie (I know I am spelling this wrong) in and makes the "cut" around that and the rest gets taken out. So it all depends on how big your stomach was to begin with. I got to see my surgery and OMG I couldn't believe how big my stomach actually was!!!
  4. Yes, finally after suffering for a couple days I broke down and asked my Dr, I am definately feeling better. Thank you!
  5. My doctor said 3 weeks. So this weekend will be 3 weeks and we r having a date night!!
  6. I agree! I would definately say something to them. When I was doing all my research I found a girl on you tube that I really liked and in one of her videos she made a comment about how you have to change everything to be successful. And that includes your habits and friends... i have't eaten anything but liquids for 2weeks.... how is that the easy way?
  7. I have NEVER had heartburn before my surgery and I am two weeks out. I feel like there is something "stuck" in my check when I eat. It feels warm and I am thinking it is heartburn. What can I take that will help it? And I never really had the gas problems that some people talk about but everytime I drink ANYTHING I burp and can't seem to help it! Has anyone had this problem and PLEASE tell me it goes away!!! Thanks
  8. I am two days post op. And just wondering if I made the right decision. My stomach is very sore, and have been feeling hungry today. To top it off, I keep burping. My husband has been wonderful! He has been helping me with out three kids. I think just right how, I feel like I will alwasy have an upset tummy. And all I have been doing is laying around the house. Has anyone else felt like this right out of surgery?
  9. Hope it went well. I am getting mine done tomorrow at 7:30 am...
