  1. Dr. Les Miles in Birmingham, AL did my band. Insurance won't pay and I can't afford it. He has not done many revisions so I was looking for someone with more revision experience. I really like Dr. Alvarez and I am very excited. I will understand if he can't do it in one surgery but will be very disappointed. I want what is best for me physically. Thanks for your prayers and support!
  2. I am having my revision October 11th. Have had band for 7 years. Not bad weight loss at first, but regained most of it back. I am having trouble with heartburn and some nausea. Ready to get it out! It has never been comfortable. I had my gallbladder out last year and my port tube was adhered to my gallbladder! My Doctor ( Dr. Alvarez) said there is a 50/50 chance of a complete revision in one surgery. Please be in prayer for me that I can get it done in one surgery. Thanks for all your support!
