  1.    Avillias reacted to a post in a topic: Small Portions At Restaurants
  2. Having a hard time eating even 2 oz of chicken breast. Chewing to applesauce consistency but filling quickly. Know I need to get my proteins. What else should I do? Tuna goes down much better.
  3. I went out twice this week to celebrate a family event. First restaurant let me have a 3oz sample of crawfish bisque and I almost died and went to heaven. I just explained my situation and they were very accommodating. No charge! Second restaurant also have me a 3 oz sample of beef stew broth no chunks, gratis. Guess I have just gotten lucky.
  4. Congrats. Remember every day is a victory!
  5. I will be 2 weeks out in 3 days. Looking forward to the semi-solid foods. Follow the doctors orders is my best advice. The post-op is painful not gonna lie. I had a major issue trying to take liquid pain meds. May want to ask for morphine drip or patch instead. Will feel like you did 1000 crunches each time you get up. I was over that in about 3 days. Try and walk as soon as you can. Good luck.
  6. Looking forward to my 2 week consult and moving to eggs to replace my protein shakes. Why am I wanting eggs???
  7. Did you have your sleeve surgery? Did have mine with Dr. Felts on July 26, 2012.
  8. I am seeking a VSG group or to start a VSG support group. My insurance and doctor know of none.
  9. Started soup broth tonight as my night snack. Hope this works.
  10. 3 days out and had my first bm this morning. Only taking in my "clear liquids," however, I cannot stop going to the bathroom. Is this normal?
