  1. I thought of another one idk if any of you do this but....I won't miss worrying about about weighing more than my husband bc right now we weigh the same but he is 6'2" compared to my 5'2".I know my husband is very sweet and loves me for me but I definitely do not look the same as the day we got married.I would also like to stop getting the "how on earth did she net him?"looks from waitresses and store clerks when I am out with my hot military husband .
  2. I would guess the listerine was to rid the mouth of as much bacteria as possible before intubation and the hibicleanse was the same for the body. Most people don't even realise they were intubated except for the scratchy throat.
  3. LOL but seriously....Git it Gurrl!I will be the same way

  7. Hi everyone! I am Kali and I live in San Antonio.I have been thinking about WLS since last year.I went to Seminar yesterday at SAMMC and also had my 1st Nutrition Class of 6.I hope to have my Psych consult and Upper Gi done along with the rest of my Nut.classes and 2 support meetings by Oct1st and surgery soon there after if all goes according to plan...I just wish we didn't have to do the 6 classes of nutrition over 3 months beforehand ugh lol.
  8. I was at the seminar yesterday Aug 1st and whoever told you that was wrong. My BMI is 40.6 and I qualify and if I lose weight and it falls between 35-40 I still will qualify with only one co morbidity. It is a self referral clinic you call them get them to ad you to a seminar schedule. You show up 30 mins early to the general surgery clinic and they weigh youand measure your neck circumference.Trust me the program manager Trish Turner went over my packet with my weight and meds(just allergy stuff). You can feel free to give me a call if you want to discuss further I will pm my number to you.You can come over and I will email Trish for you and get you in if I have to.Do not take no for an answer from whichever nimrod who answers the phone.I have been a mil spouse to long to put up with any it lol
  9. Yes I am hoping to be curvy too I was 140 a long time ago(15yrs ago)I am 5'2 with a fair bit of muscle and 135-140 I think would be optimal.I look forward to seeing everyone's progress and sharing my own!
