Hi I am afraid that because I am still in the pre-op stage that I was 229 on 7/2 and this morning 217 and I sill have 4more days to go on the high protein/low fat/ low carbs diet and 1 wk of pure liquids that I will be one of those ppl that will loose very slowlyafter surgery. But I guess I have to set my mind to be ok with that because it willbe a permanent lose.... Thank you for sharing this is a great help to me....
  4. They had better prices at Harlingen wgt loss clinic . Dr Reyes was about $4-5 thousand dollars more.
  5. I live in Edinburg but work at Harlingen. Time is sure going really fast now.
  6. I have not slept well in awhile, I thought it was due to all the protein I was taking in. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea this wk and hopefully this coming Wednesday I will have the second part of my study and I hope that the c-pap and the wgt loss after surgery (8/29) it will all go away.. I am ready for a good night sleep. :)zzzzz's needed

  10. I have Cigna but apparently there is a clause no wgt loss surgery. Do u work for VBMC?

  13. Highest recorder 229. Pre-op weight: this evening 219.4 I am 5'1". Surgery date 8/29/12

  15. Chubarella I am going to VBMC in Harlingen, surherh 8/29 . I had the take home sleep study I paid $150 and it was positive so next Wed I c pulmonologist and do the second part of sleep study. I am hoping my insurance pays for this.

  19. Pegsue I am glad u r doing well. I hopefully be sleeved in about 2 wks so I would love if you could keep me posted of your progress, what u did to help your recovery, what didn't help any info will be welcomed and appreciated. I will think of you as my leader and mentor.
  20. Hi I am going with Dr hilmy and had a positive sleep study. I have an appt with pulmonalogist (?) On the 22nd I see him and do the sleep study same day and I am self pay, I guess I better call and find out how much I have to pay.. Chubarella when is your surgery and what hospital
