Metroplus in an insurence comp in ny

Yea i called they said if ur surgeon says no then no. They dont ask for 6 months. I have my 2nd visit n hope to get my date then. I had to ask my pcp for referal then make a first appt. They expained the 3 procedures and i picked the sleeve. Then they gave me a list of things i needed to do (tests) ekg abdominal sobogram ugi phyc and a support letter thats all i did it all already. Then theyll sumit to metroplus

I cant wait not to have to struggle to tie my sneakers, to not have to hold my breath and jump to put on jeans, to not have to always pull down my shirts.

As long as u do ur part of setting up appt they are good but they have long wait though. I went mid agust and asked up to where they were up to annd she said beggining november so either im mid or end of nov

Damn the days seems so long. I cant wait for that day to b tomorrow. I got my secound appt on sept 6 and yes i will get my surgery date. But the wait is sooooooo looooonnnggggg. The lady that sckedules say end of nov beggining of dec. i mean as long as i can start 2013 on a new foot great. Who else is in this waiting room with me..

I am also lookin n im going to start a video journal bc i got inspired bc of youtube videos. Once i get a date i will start that. Ill put a threat once i post. Cant wait for the liquid diet( wierd rite)

Well i had my ugi done and it wasnt as bad as i have heard. U cant eat or drink the night before. When they start they make u drink something similar to alka seltzer and they tell u not to burp. Then u have to gulp down a white paste-like substance ( tastes like chalk). Then they put u in diff positions and make u hold ur breath. The final thing is an esophagus x- ray. U lay on ur belly and they make u drink a waterier white liquid (tastes like Water banana milk shake no sugar) and u have to chug it down. Nice Breakfast rite? Amazingly im not hungry after that. Wat was urs like?

Lmao. Ur so funny but i understand wat u sayin. But think about it this way, ull maybe have a cateder n they hurt if they are pulled n stuff. And the iv u wont be able to change ur clothes. Once they remove all that i too am going to change bc the gown makes people feel and look sicker. Wat i hate the most is them waking u up at all hours

I feel your pain. On the 6 i have my secound appt with the surgeon n it seems so far away. And the worst part is i think they have a long wait for the surgery. I just want it to be tomorrow

I read that for weight loss paitients its better to have ur gallbladdr removed during the surgery because eventually u will have stones and they might have to operate again. I had mys removed and i can say it hurts so much. If i had the choice i would have had the gb and the vsg done at the same time.

I cant wait not to have to hoold my breath when im walking down the street. I cant wait not to look away when i think a guy is handsome I cant wait not to be affraid to take an empty seat in the train bc of not fittin I cant wait not watch other shop because theres no sizes for me I cant wait not to squeaze into a 16 and be a 6

Hey i feel u. Every time i look at my boys all i can think about is them not becoming fat like me. Im also making a change for them. I dont want them to go throw redicule in school and the remarks about their fat mom. Not only dat but medical issues too. My boys r 1 and 2 and love me as i am but i dont want to set this example. I want them to see their mamy healthy and able to play and not get tierd or mess up her bak or have her knees hurt. I want to c my grand kids and not die of a heart attack cuz im FAT

Cant wait for people to not say oh yea the fat girl, oh yea the fat smart girl, or we dont carry that size, u might not fit, and ur still gonna have desert!, i cant believe u hungry, oh my isnt she big, loose some weight, ur so lazy( no im tierd bc of all this damn wait) u should excersice ( oh yea try that with an extra 130 on u n c) and finally that doesnt look good on u ( like we dont aready kno) Wat do u want to stop hearing.. Vent

Cant wait to wear something nice to sleep instead of a big ass shirt. I cant wait to dress my age. Cant wait for my stomach not to hang over my jeans. And always look like a rice sack wearing a belt. I cant wait to say " damn i look good in that dress" I cant wait for people to not judge me by my appearence but by my brains and heart

Ive had a diff surgery all i have to say is ull be asleep before u kno it and awake before u dream. It feels like a blink. A lil painful after and the no water thing kills. Dont struggle with the anestisia relax and let it wear off after the surgery. Gas is a killer so walk. Good luck.

Thas why i dont shop in stores anymore. Miss that . Online u find nice things plus size. But we should be able to normally shop after 6 months of post op.

How about going shooping for clothes and falling in love with a piece that they might not have in ur size or that u kno is not in ur size. Or how about running out of air while going up stair 2 or 3 floors. The looks people give u like if u not human or something. Having my relatives always reminding me how fat i am. Ive cryed over that.

Lol yeah like big people dont like to dress nice too.
