  3. Do you get better results using the free weights or using the weight machines and for how long at each session?
  4. Get to the gym when u feel ready and start using weight training along with cardio that is the key I know someone who has no loose skin at all. 3-5 days a week at the gym and I have another friend who is 1 yr out and has never worked out who has tremendous loose skin

  11. Oh no I wouldn't want to wait that long but hey your scheduled that should be a little exciting for u I know I was so excited when I got my date. I'm scared to death being my first surgery but excited at the same time. I just can't wait to go in
  12. I need this surgery done ASAP I didn't want to stall it until school break I feel the surgery is more important right now. One of my professors wants me back in a week so I think I'm gonna go to the dean I know that the school must have some sort of allowance for medical illness...hopefully
  13. No pre op diet except for the day before. I just got a call from a nurse at the hospital they need to do a 20-30 minute intake over the phone it's becoming so real. Well scared or not I'm not gonna let that get in the way I need this surgery.
  14. I just got my approval last Wednesday and my surgery is October 30th. This will be my first surgery ever and I'm excited about it but then scared to death. The thought of me lying on the gurney knowing they gonna inject me with something to knock me out is the scariest part for me.
  15. I'm happy to hear that some of you can still get their coffee so maybe I can sneak a cup in a few times. I'm a mocha fanatic and I know the mocha would be to much just yet but just a plain old coffee would satisfy me for a bit.

  17. Welcome Marilyn, I am new to this to I just got my insurance approval last week and having surgery next Tuesday. It's completely normal to be scared as many of us are excited about it and nervous at the same time.
  18. I'm a college student how long should I expect to be out for. Surgery is the 30th and not sure how long I should tell my professors that I will be out for.
  19. I wonder why each surgeon is different. My surgeon says no coffee for 3 months and not to even try decaf because there is small amounts of caffeine in decaf.
  20. Do I really have to stay away from coffee for 3 months after surgery. Would I be able to get decaf. Anyone know what the issue is with coffee
