  1. I'm one day post op a few things I brought was a robe slippers lip balm ipad phone and charger heating pad a throw blanket my pillow pet lol toothbrush and toothpaste mouth wash came in handy as we're not allowed anything by mouth day of surgery and needless to say mouth gets very dry I also brought shower products didn't know we're not allowed to bathe they won't even let me just wash my hair ugh a table top fan it's so hot in here and gas x strips I haven't had a problem with gas but many people do

  3. This was my only surgery so needless to say I was scared to death but I am so glad i did it....
  4. My surgery was yesterday as well no nicotine test. They have us give them a urine sample for pregnancy test and that's it and then the anesthesiologist put the IV in so you should be good. Good luck!!!

  7. I've heard of bringing a heating pad to the hospital. Has anyone used one and has it helped.

  16. I still got approved for surgery I didn't lose any weight I actually gained a few. I keep having my last meals. The weightloss is more to shrink the liver
  17. You cheated with popcorn are you on a special diet. My doc doesn't require a special diet until the afternoon the day before
  18. Looks like there is a lot of us going in on the 30th
  19. Melissa do you have a time already that your scheduled for. I don't get mine until Monday they call the day before with the time
  20. How is everyone feeling surgery on Tuesday. This is my 1st surgery and all along I've been really scared but now I just feel excited and ready to do this.
  21. I'm having mine done on Tuesday. I've never had surgery before and so I'm a little nervous but excited as well. You really have to believe that your surgeon has done plenty of surgeries and everything should work out for the best. Good luck hope to hear from you post op keep us up to date!!
