  1. You will do great! I was banded 1week ago today and I'm starting to get back into swing of things. I was sore some and felt like I did a bunch of sit-ups but everything went great. Being on here had helped answer a lot of questions I had and has really helped me prepare for pre and post op. I got a lot of inspiration here and excited to start this journey. Best of luck to you in your journey!
  2. Good luck today. You will be fine. I am 1week post op today and feeling good. Excited to start this journey and excited for you as well.

  11. I'm using Advocare muscle gain. It has 25grams of protein per serving low in sugar. Also their products are better than GNCs because they break it down to the smallest form so when you drink them your body easily absorbs the protein. It taste like most protein shakes. Not a chocolate shake but it's tolerable. You can get it in packs or a canister. www.advocare.com/12102403 is the site. Even NFL players are starting to use advocare.
  12. I'm being banded Dec 3rd! I'm so excited!
  13. I am right there with you on starting a new journey. My ins requires 6 month with doctor or 3 months with nutritionists. I am 4 months in with my doctor but didnt feel she was documenting enough so I am goin to start seeing a nutritionists as well. ( Cant hurt to have extra documentation for the ins comp). I have met with my surgeon and they require coming to a 6 hour seminar and it was great and informative. I am hoping to be banded in Novemember or December fingers cossed! I would love to keep in touch and have someone who is in the same steps in this journey as myself to talk to.
