  2. My surgery was 8/6, today I almost went out and mowed the lawn! Lol what a difference a day makes . All external incisions healed except for one stubborn one! I set my phone every 2 hours, I am either eating or drinking. Part of my beginning issues was I would fall asleep and lose track of time. Journaling is helping too.

  17. I am on the other coast of Florida near Tampa. Sleeve scheduled for 8/6. I start preop diet tomorrow. How soon did you guys get back to work after surgery- I know everyone is different. Just trying to get an estimate, I am taking ten days off. Not sure if is enough time.
  18. I was just asking myself this question, I recently changed surgeons. The new surgeon reviewed my chart and suggested the sleeve. I had done all my research on the RNY and was convinced that was the way to go. I am scheduled for aug 6 for the sleeve. After more research. I think the long term malabsorption issues that can occur did it for me. I need to lose about 145#, I like to exercise, so I think that will help a great deal. The success stories on this forum have been very inspirational. I wish you well on your endeavors, look forward to seeing the success story. Incidentally, don't let the surgeon "push" you . It is always and ultimately your decision. Blessings!
