  1. llali82, wow that was low. I am glad it didn't stop your surgery. I just picked mine up and first one down.
  2. It is interesting that you mention this. My surgeons office mentioned this as well as joint aches that could be associated with low Vitamin D. She asked if I was feeling tired, but honestly I couldn't say any more tired than normal..lol...
  3. Congratulations on the little one ! I am hoping mine will improve before surgery as well. I am glad to hear that others say it did not prevent them from having surgery. This is great news.
  4. @@Luvin_Life125 & Sleeve_Sistah85 glad to know I am not the only one and life goes on. @@Stevehud thanks for the info and I think I will try the chewable version too.
  5. @@Rocky1 thanks for the heads up on the ASMBS guidelines. I will talk with my surgeon about this as I get closer to surgery. I am also going to check out myself on the web.
  6. @ della street I am so excited for you!!!! Keep me posted
  7. @@della street Thanks! That is what I was hoping. Good to hear.
  8. I haven't been taking one. My surgeons office told me to start Centrum or equiv, today with the scrip Vitamin D once a week as well.
  9. Just got my pre-op blood work back and was told I had to start a prescription Vitamin D along with my daily multi vitamin. (Score was 19.3) Anyone else have this come up?
  10. I can't offer much advise on the next size to go down to, because it has been so long..lol.. I just wanted to say YAY!!! How exciting. Congrats!
  11. @ NewMeLinZ - I am trying the same approach to get ready for the new lifestyle. I have given up all carbonated drinks. So far so good. I am on my second weigh in today. Good luck on your journey! I have to have 6 months of medically supervised weight loss before my insurance will approve me, too. It isn't really 6 months, though. I have 6 weight checks, but my first one was on my consult day and then #2 was a month later. (make sense?) I am currently about to have my 3rd weigh in -in just a week. It sucks to wait, but in the meantime, I am learning to eat slower, eat more protien, eat less sugar, and drink more Water. All which you have to do post surgery.
  12. @ I am also in the 6 month supervised weight loss. I hope time passes quickly & good luck on your journey.
