I am 9 days post op. Still feeling well - just sore -so that things like laughing, coughing or sneezing hurt. Haven't taken any pain meds since being in the hosp.

Dr. Garcia did my sleeve 1 week ago today. AMAZING experience. No issues - would do it again in a heartbeat. Harmoni

Wow! I have to chime in.... One week ago today, Dr. Garcia did my surgery. His staff was top notch. He was beyond excellent. The coordinating company I chose was Ready 4 a Change. My roommate @ the hospital had A Lighter Me. We had very different service - she said that my care was much better. I had multiple docs checking on me (all part of Dr. Garcia's team) & my coordinator was more organized, prepared & attentive. I know how confusing it is deciding, if anyone wants to chat, I'd be happy to provide my contact info & share my personal experience. Shame on the people who are spreading lies about Dr. Garcia!! I am another Dr. Garcia patient who used Ready 4 A Change. Had surgery on 11-08-12 and everyone had been amazing. I came alone and have been soooo grateful to Melissa (ready 4 a change hospital coordinator) who was a huge support, Rosie for her assistance settling into the hotel & Samuel the driver. All have gone up and beyond the call of duty. Harmoni

Mine is on the 8th too - with Dr. Garcia. I am going alone. Have any of you packed yet? I am a last second packer, so won't do it until the day before. Need to head out and get a few more things - Gas X, PJ's (my usual PJs are not appropriate) & clear Protein. Harmoni

Hello everyone! I am less than a week away from my surgery date and I can't shake one lingering worry about the Water. I know they give bottled water for us to drink while there....but what I don't get is: won't taking a shower allow our incisions to be open & exposed to the germs (bacteria?) in the water to creep in?? Can someone explain?? Thanks! Harmoni

Greetings! I would like to know from Dr. Kelly patients what time your return flight was scheduled for and if you had any issues crossing back into the US. I would imagine that there must be a rush hour for crossing the boarder... Thank you for your input! Harmoni
