  1. Opps didn't mean to repost. Made these for dinner tonight, AWESOME! Thank you.
  2. I was sleeved on 10/23. Pre-pre-op lost 28 lbs over couple years, pre-op diet lost 11 lbs, since surgery I have lost 18 lbs (not counting the gaining and loosing 23 lbs from the hospital stay). No nausea, no vomiting. Trying to figure out when I need to eat, and working through not eating when my sleeve feels full and my mouth still wants to chomp on something. I am excited bout feeling the inches coming off. I want to keep a slow steady pace. I do want to know how far along folks were before they tried the muffin lasagna recipe???
  3. I am two weeks post op. I take in 900 - 1200 calories a day. My concern is going in to starvation mode and reducing my already slow matabolism. So I will drink an extra shake to add calories, if needs be. I want to loose 2 lbs per week to reduce skin sagging. I'm not sure if I am off base on this but I have my post op appointment on Thurs. So hopefully, I'll get more info then.
  4. I have severe sleep apnea. I took my bipap to the hospital and used it whenever I was sleeping. From my understanding, there is concern when taking pains meds and sleep apnea.
  5. Pants without a muffin top and being able to tuck in shirts.
  6. Sorry my half my post didn't make it. Somewhere I was trying to say, after leaving the hospital I was on full liquids that included yogart and cream of wheat. Not bragging, just saying, yogart seems to be okay.
  7. I am now on the purée phase (2 weeks post op).
  8. My nut defines full liquids as anything the consistency of a milk shake or thinner. But she allows cram of wheat as well. Seems arbitrary.
  9. chicken tortilla soup. I have a Montel Williams' blender that liquifies just about anything. I bought a variety of lentil and bean Soups to blend for the "full liquid" diet my nut has me on.
  10. Sleeved on Tues, on clear liquid I got home yesterday. I have been able to take in what seems to be a lot, for example in the hospital a meal consisted of a Popsicle, 1/2 cup broth, and 1/2 jello. Today, for lunch and again for dinner, I had a cup of soup (liquified in blender) Is this too much during one sitting? Will the amount I consume decrease with more solid foods?
  11. Scale is being put out of sight and out of mind. Thank you!
  12. Thank you for your responses !
  13. I was sleeved 10/23, home from the hospital tonight. I weigh 22 lbs more than I did the morning of surgery.
  14. I looking for the best tasting chocolate protein. Something that truly tastes like chocolate.... maybe ever dark chocolate. Your recommendations are appreciated. Thank you.
  15. A heating pad may help.
  16. I get sleeved 10/23 and started diet yesterday. The only thing getting me through is making sure I consume something every 3 hours. It keeps me at hungry as opposed to starving, and chewing gum.
  17. I tried the nectar lemon ice tea today. Love it.
  18. I use liquid drops of chlorophyll through Vitamin Shoppe (i drink it in my water), peppermint oil soft gels from local health food store and HSN. I would also try allstarhealth.com.
  19. Chlorophyll and peppermint oil can help with body odors.
