  12. I am 3 months post op. I have tried greens 3 times. They did not agree with me. I want to try them again and would die for a salad. When were you able to eat lettuce? My doc days I can try to see if I tolerate it now.

  15. Do you use a CPAP Machine for your apnea?
  16. I had the same problem. I had shoulder surgery 2 months earlier. I rested most of the day so I felt that was the contributing factor
  17. You have worked hard to get where you are. Nothing wrong with tooting your own horn. Let's us know we are next in line!!!!!! Way to go fellow nurse.
  18. I totally agree. This is an avenue for us to share with and encourage each other. This should not be about competition
  19. Finally SW 254 211 4th of July CW 207 GW 190 I had my first stall will be 3 Weeks since sleeve on Friday.
  20. I originally felt the band was best until reports of them becoming embedded in the liver after becoming too loose. The number of fills of saline and such turned me off. The idea of the bypass does not appeal to me. Some insurance comp. will not cover the sleeve. I believe the vitamins and protein is the same for bypass and sleeve so some absorption is better than none. My doctor and I agreed on the sleeve. I had a scare after a motor vehicle accident, they found a mass on my pancreas in August and thought I had pancreatic cancer. The workup showed no cancer and the pancreatic specialist told me it was okay to have the sleeve. I was delayed several months because I had rotator cuff surgery in February. My left cuff had a full-thickness tear . So I had the sleeve surgery April 28th and I am extremely pleased.
  21. My problem initially was dryness. It was very uncomfortable for me. I use the nasal prongs instead of the mask. I have 35 more pounds to lose. My pulmonary doc says after that they will repeat my test to determine if I can get off CPAP.
