  8. We are all different. None of us want to be judged by others. Before I decided to have surgery I said I would never have bariatric surgery. I did not like the before and after shots of bypass patients they appeared anorexic to me. I went to a seminar and found out I could have the sleeve done laparoscopically and became a believer. My concern was health related. Almost everyone knows I had surgery. It works for me. I don't see it as easy. You still have to make the right food choices and exercise. I feel and look better than I have in years and really don't mind sharing with others. This is not for everybody. But it is an individual decision where your support system makes a difference. I had my Mom and best friend who were in my corner. My husband was afraid at first. A lot of people are concerned because of the complications that can occur. I agree with whoever said this is better than lying in a coffin because you did not try to take control.
  9. Birds of a feather..... Starting weight 255 sleeved April 28th. At 200. Scales are up and down. I am pleased to be in a 14 was in a 20. Would love to see 199. But I am grateful and feel healthier.
  10. I was also in 2X scrubs was excited to wear med tops and large pants.
  11. 200 got 10 more to reach goal. Any loss is good.
  12. My pulmonologist recommended I lose 75 # to be able to get off CPAP. Now he has bumped it up to 100 #. We have agreed that when I get to 75 # loss he will repeat the study. My machine is supposed to adjust to needed settings. They had to replace with a new one it just quit working and beeping. Glad I had the surgery

  15. Hello April sleevers I have had a headache upon awaking for 3 days. I am sipping water all day. Dont think its dehydration. So my Primary Doc took me off bp meds a month ago. But still I take it every other day. Bp is a little elevated 130/88. Will take daily just to be on safe side any body have this problem
  16. Wow my surgery was done in the US charge was 53000.00. Primary insurance discounted 36000.00 final bill 14000. My primary and secondary insurance will pay it all thank God. I had a wonderful experience.
