Was banded 7/9 and more port site incision is swollen still and I can literally feel it. Is this normal?

Banded 7/9 & there is no way I am going to last another freaking week on pure liquid. I need to eat, but what???

I felt the same way & cheated here & there. I successfully had my surgery 7/9 and back on the liquid diet for 2 more weeks. When we cheat, we only cheating ourselves. I wish I would've had more control then, cuz it would be easier now. Good luck to you

My port sight is hurting really bad. My chest feels like somebody punched me. Uugggggghhhh!!!! He had to repair a hernia in my stomach & I don't even have a taste for ANY food, not even clear. Is this common?

You sound like you have a great plan in place. I was honest with my doctor & told him on the 4th i ate grilled chicken & turkey burgers. He laughed at me & said at least I was honest. I had my surgery successfully on 7/9. I'm not saying do the same thing, but read the labels. Less than 4 grams of sugar low carb meal if u starving

Every 2 hours they giving me pain meds. My shoulder hurt from the gas & my port site hurts, other than that; I'm ok. My wonderful girlfriend staying all night wit me @ the hospital, so I have major support.

Thanks again everybody. I was cleared for surgery. Test came back that I have a fatty liver anyway, so he is doing a 4 inscension cut!!

I'm at my pre-op appointment & surprisingly I lost more than I thought on the 2wk liquid diet. Surgery is Monday 7/9. Wish me luck banders

My surgery is 7/9 & I can't do another day of this liquid diet

My surgery date is 7/9 & I had to be on 2wk liquid diet. The problem was in the first week, I did eat on 3 different occasions. It was healthy choice meal with less than 5 grams of sugar. I ate it because I'm a diabetic & my sugar had dropped. Now I have started my second week & I know it's crunch time to shrink my liver. Am i the only one that pinched here & there???
