  1. I'm on day three as well. I haven't had any nausea but the incisional pain is way worse then I thought it would be. I've been keeping up on my pain medication to try .and stay in front of the pain. So far I haven't felt hungry but I think that's the pain. Good luck!!
  2. Day two of being home and I have noticed a huge reduction in my pain. Yesterday I was feeling discouraged but things are looking up today!
  3. Thank you all, what a welcoming community. I look forward to finding my place here.
  4. Hi everyone! As you can tell I'm new to the forum. I had my band done yesterday morning in Windber, Pa. I came home early this afternoon. I have to admit, I'm feeling a little discouraged because I'm in more pain then I thought I would be. I had gas pains yesterday but they went away. Mostly its pain around the incisions and when I stand up I feel like my insides are coming out. I hope it starts improving soon. I'm looking forward to all I have to learn from everyone here. Jessy
  5. This is kindof a late reply but I'm in Somerset, banded yesterday
  6. Don't be so hard on yourself! I'm brand new to this whole process (surgery was yesterday) so I know I don't have much room to give advice. I just wanted to say hang in there:-)
  7. Hi everyone! I'm brand new to this journey. I had my lap band done yesterday 6-25-12. I'm actually experiencing more post op pain then I expected, but I'm trying to stay positive. I had my surgery with Dr Kim Marley in Windber PA. A little bit about me: I'm married with two little girls and I'm currently a nursing student. I look forward to learning from everyone here. 8. I had my surgery yesterday. I came home from the hospital this morning and honestly, I feel like crap. Unless I lay very still I feel like my insides are going to come out.
