  1. I had no pain just a little sore. Hope that helps.
  2. I am down to one cup from three also. I actually have to reheat it cause it gets cold it takes me so long to drink it. If you have a kuerig you can buy the half and half coffee which is half caffeine I don't taste a difference.
  3. I agree I tried a bunch and premier chocolate is the only one I use. 30 grams of protein.
  4. I been drinking coffee since one week out. No issues I use Splenda and skim plus half and half.
  5. I had one too they found during the endoscopy. I had horrible heartburn everyday which would burn even if I hadn't eaten anything. They repaired it during surgery and I haven't had an ounce of heartburn in 3 weeks.
  6. I took 7 weeks off my company offers 12 weeks a year 100% pay . I am in week 3 and could go back but prefer to wait till I am on full solids and comfortable with my diet. It would suck to get sick at work.

  8. This is the reason I didn't share with co- workers. It's like working with a bunch of teenagers. When I finally go back they will all be making assumptions behind my back but I will enjoy them really not knowing what I had done and it will drive them nuts.

  10. Love seafood and I have been eating it since 2 weeks out and haven't had any issues. Nothing fried but grilled and boiled. Protein is high so it's good for you.
  11. Try premier chocolate premade shakes from Costco. They taste like chocolate milk and are 30 grams of protein.
  12. I use Premier chocolate shake. They are premade and you can get them at Costco. Taste delicious and there 30 grams of protein.
  13. I take Celexa and Abilify and had no issues swallowing them but I also take Depakote for migraines and they are huge so I stick them in applesauce. The hospital suggested it while I was in there.
  14. Everyone goes through the what ifs. I was nervous a few days before surgery but wrote down the pros and cons and clearly seen the pros out weighed the cons. I am 18 days post-op and feel amazing. I am down 22 lbs and one size smaller then I was a month ago. You owe it to your self to be healthy. We are all here taking this journey together so lean on us. Your surgery being moved up is great less time to anticipate it. Good luck!!

  16. I too had to gain weight to have the surgery. In my eyes it was worth every pound.
  17. I ate normal up to the day before then I did liquids till midnight. I have not had one side effect. I sometimes wonder if he did anything cause other then my incisions I don't feel any different.

  19. I went out to dinner this week for the first time with 9 other people. It was hibachi. I ate my lobster and shrimp become full and excused my self walked outside and took a walk around the shopping center. It was my immediate family so they all understood. I know I'm not ready to eat out with people that don't know I been sleeved.

  22. I was not thinking about my lap top. I brought a couple pair of stretchy pajama pants and toiletries. Because of the IV I had to keep hospital gown on.i spent most the time sleeping.
  23. My BMI was under 40 and I had mild sleep apnea. My doctor was honest said insurance would never approve it. I waited 8 months gained the weight I needed to be at 40 and just had my surgery 2 weeks ago. Good luck.
