  1. Wow, when I wrote this back in Oct I thought it was going to be forever to wait till Feb, and here I am, the first day of my pre op diet. I'm not a big fan of protein drinks but I'm going to put on my big girl panties and "just do it!"
  2. I have had some one tell me about a friend of a friend getting sick every time she eats, I told him, she probably eats too much and she should really work on that. Lol
  3. Please someone tell me all these sleep studies and doctor appoint ments are worth it. For some reason aftet all ive been thru for this sleeve having to come back for a second sleep study is just pushing me over the edge!!!
  4. Good thing my BF doesn't read this, I plan on milking the ” can't lift things” for as long as I can. That will take care of laundry, shopping, vacuum ooh I can't wait :-)
  5. I'm just realizing as I'm switching out my summer to winter clothes that I will most likely never wear these summer clothes again. Surgery is in Feb, so all new clothes will be needed by June. I've got to admit, it's crazy but I'm having mixed emotions. While I hate all my fat clothes and can't wait to shop for new ones, it's sad to part with things that gave me my identity
  6. Thanks Swizzly - I will have to discuss the bars with my NUT next week. I'd hate to make this whole surgery a bad experience for me over these protein drinks. I wont stress it and just look into other options.
  7. SWIZZLY what did you do pre op?? I had my very first Protein shake today and I don't have any idea how I am going to do 14 days pre op drinking two of these a day!!! My suregery is not for a couple months so I do have time to try different brands and different ideas. Any help???
  8. oh and Congrats Grammy on your 145lb loss that's great!! and Chunky chick good luck with your new sleeve!
  9. Thank you ladies! I will not dwell on it - and I know February will be here before I know it. At least I have a set date and I'm working toward a goal!!
  10. Well I just about done all my pre testing and I have been told I can get a December surgery date! The problem is my job! We are currently under staffed and with the holidays December and even January will be difficult for me to take off! So now I am offering to wait until February!!!! I don't know if I can take the wait for 4 months!!!

I am pre op and this is what scares me the most. I am so afraid of doing all the work and then in a year or two I fall back into my old bad habits. Since I'm not experienced enough in this I can't offer any advice personallly but I have read that it is best to stop it at 10lbs before it gets worse and harder to lose. I wish you the best and just try to remember the feelings you had before your surgery and what made you want it so bad.
