I was banded on 26/6/2012 and Iv lost 37 pounds so far, 60% of my excess weight

Was just wondering wether it was fine to have coffee post op? Iv heard many people get an upset stomach when they have hot coffee, but how about a frappucino, or an iced latté?

My doctor had me go on full liquids for 5 days then back to normal foods

I've got a question for diabetics who are banded, how can you swallow your pills? My parents are both diabetic and some of the pills they have to take are pretty huge Thanx

How soon after u got banded were u allowed to swim, as in sea/pool??

It varies from person to person, i feel amazing and today is my 6th post op day, but up until my 4th I was very weak and lousy

I was banded 2 days ago, my surgeon hasn't been of much help as I haven't been able to get a hold of him, my pain and discomfort are subsiding, but am I allowed to shower? Or is it still too soon? And are there any precautions I should watch out for Thanx
