If I Burp One More Time.....
Weeew! I feel so much better now knowing that I am not the only one. It does seem to be slowly improving. Everyone is so supportive on this forum. I can't wait until I'm further along and can possibly help someone else out.

If I Burp One More Time.....
Thanks everyone. I hope it passes pretty quickly. I don't feel pain just the need to release some air. I also had to have a hernia repaired I wonder does that make a difference. I talked to my nurse and Dr. they assured me that it will improve just wanted a view from other sleevers. I feel like I'm learning my body all over again.

If I Burp One More Time.....
Yes, my doctor actually is who told me to try it. I had issues the first few days with gulping and the straw helps me avoid that. And I wish it was that simple I started the burping immediately. I even do it eating a popsicle lol

If I Burp One More Time.....
I was just sleeved a little over a week ago. I'm doing great with getting my liquids in. A straw is my lifesaver for me. I'm already down 23lbs including 7 lost one week pre op. WHOOP! Not bad for a so called light weight. Now here is the problem I have to burp after every sip. I know there will be gas but my god in between every sip????Please tell me I'm not alone. How long does this last. I'm on 40 mg acid reducer.

Who Did You Tell?
I told everyone but I also understand why some people choose not to. Folks will drum up every horror story and try to discourage you. Not because they are evil but because they are scared of change and of things they dont understand. Politely tell them you have made up your mind you will be surprised how much support you recieve in the end. One of my closest friends thought I was taking the easy way but I have you know she was my first visitor (after my mom) .

Going In Tomorrow At 7Am!
Thank you its been a rough 3 days but I am officially sleeved. The day after was the worst but now things are off to a great start. If you listen to only one thing you have been told about recovery Walk Walk and Walk some more. Your body will thank you for it.

Going In Tomorrow At 7Am!
I'm also going to surgery in less than 6 hours. I am a nervous, scared, excited wreck if that makes any sense. I made the choice to be open about my surgery . Shocker of the day my boss tried to stage an intervention and encourage my coworkers to try and talk me out of it at the last minute. I was too thru! I know he means well but respect my decision. Goodluck we can track our results together
