Hey April, thanks alot! i emailed him and mentioned you. Yes, would you mind telling me how much you have to pay lol. Shane (dh) has astigmatism im sure that matters. He did have a consult and was a candidate for the surgery up here but they wanted 3200$. That did include a retreatment if it was needed so I would hope they offer the same.

I'm having surgery on july ninth with doctor ponce. I'm trying to find a lasik doctor for my husband so he can get his eyes fixed while I'm down there. Has anybody had this done in tijuana? Can anybody recommend a doctor? Thanks

OH! i did have an amazing idea! Im seeing dr ponce in 2 weeks and Im really tempted to tattoo a row of dotted lines across the upper of my belly with "Please read instruction before cutting" lol. OR maybe just HI DR PONCE! . I can just imagine the shake of his head lol and it would always be funny to me haha

Im a tattoo artist and im in the process of working on my own sleeve (full arm solid color tattoo) I do a bit on it here and there. I personally stopped working on it for the simple reason that I want my body to have the absolute most energy to heal my surgery and not take any energy away from it for a tattoo. The healing time on tattoos varies by A. your health B. the skill of your artist and C. how much is done to your skin (black and grey is typically less trama vs Full color) That said, I specialize in full color and the tattoos I do typically heal in 4 days. Not related, Ladies PLEASE ask your tattoo artist to see their portfolios. Dont assume that we are all good or can do what you want done. Find someone whos personal style matches yours and get something original lol

does the nectar brand smell like protein? Its trully not the taste. My kid almost wrestled me for the chocolate splendor w milk from unjury but that smell omg...

So i thought it was the actual taste of Protein powders that I cant stand and I finally discovered that it isnt. Its that nasty vomit inducing smell!! I am pre op and have about 2 weeks until my sleeve surgery and I must find a Protein powder that doesnt stink. The unjury chocolate splendor is actually pretty tasty.. if I plug my nose, and until I take a breath afterwards. OMG gross. I have tried a few brands at walmart, most of the unjury flavors and the smell of all of them makes me sick. How am i going to do this after surgery if I cant stomach these at all??

I emailed Dr Garcia. He responded and told me he does not condone that behavior and is taking care of it. I have however decided to have surgery with Dr Ponce on July 9th!!!! 3 weeks!!

Yay more good info about Dr. Ponce! I have FINALLY made my decision and I am going to him on July 9th! 3 weeks!! im only a little excited lol

I would love to talk to both Dr Kelly and Garcia but I am not sure how to reach garcia directly without getting a coordinator. I have a call in to Omar that I am hoping he returns tomorrow Does anybody REALLY know what happened between kelly and alighterme? I am definetly giving Dr Kelly the benefit of the doubt on that. From what everyone says he is a terrific surgeon and man. seems like a whole lotta drama

I was not too sure where to post this or even if I should post this but it has been bothering me since it happened yesterday. I have been researching Garcia, Kelly and Alvarez. They all seem like great doctors. Well i filled out each of their contact forms or emailed each of them. I tell some coordinater with "alighterme" (responded to inquiry with dr garcia) which doctors i am looking at and mistaking alvarez for Almanza she immediately says " I would never to go hospital jerusaleum".. um ok ive done my research. But then she tells me she had surgery with Dr. Kelly last year and while he did a great job on her he has developed "certain Habits" and she would steer clear of him. I tell her i have done my research and he sounds like a great doctor. I am then told he is a drug addict. . WHOA. I havent talked to either doctor but insulting and slandering another professional is low and dirty. When I proceeded to ask questions about how complications are handled with Dr Garcia, she couldnt answer that. So basically the only information I got besides price, was how terrible another doctor is. I would never talk smack about the other tattoo artists in the other shop in my town (atleast not to my clients lol- maybe family). It really upset me and made me question Dr. Garcia So statement is .. if you are trying to get my business dont try to run others down. question is.. Do these coordinaters work FOR the doctor? I havent read of this specific coordinator before. Would Dr Garcia condone this type of behavior? I dont want to rule him out as my doctor if this isnt his fault.

Hi I am super new to this forum but have asked a few questions over on obesityhelp.com I am trying to decide on a doctor and i keep thinking i have it and then i find another great one. I have narrowed it down to 3. Dr Garcia, Dr Kelly or Dr Alvarez. Dr Alvarez is the most expensive. 3200$ more expensive. That would pay for my husbands lasik surgery. I have no insurance. I lost it half way through the process in the united states so i have been to support groups, informational meetings, surgeon consult and a few other things lol. All three of these doctors seem to be pretty amazing. They seem to really care about their patients. One thing that really made me put alvarez at the top was this statement from susan " In the unlikely event of a complication, we keep you at the hospital and care for you or if you are home, we wish you to come back to us for such care at no charge. Why would we charge you for something he caused???" How amazing is that?? Talk about a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. My question is, after lots of rambling, do the other 2 doctors offer the same? Will they be there when i struggle? If i have a complication can i jump on a plane and know that in a few hours ill be safe and they will take care of me. Thanks so much Brandie
