  4. Hi! I'm self pay. The national health service will pay for some operations but you usually have to have a bmi of 40 or over, and there can be a long wait. The cost was £4995...which I think may be less than it costs in the US? (not sure about currency conversion at the moment!)
  5. My name's Amy, I'm 30, have a BMI of 31...and am having surgery tomorrow (Eeeek!) had my bloods done today, now waiting in a hotel near the hospital (Dolan Park near Birmingham, UK) . Great to find a place for other low BMI bandsters....worry that other people find it a bit annoying that I have only 50lbs to lose....though it seems plenty to me!
