Thank you sooo much. I have been so down and depressed it really sucks. I'm supposed to be sleeved in November but freaked out because of this pain from this surgery. Hopefully won't be sooo bad!!

Hello. I had my band removed on 9/4 and now have been experiencing bad back pain directly behind the site where my band was at. Has anyone else experienced this? The nurse said it can happen depends on how much scar tissue was removed which my surgeon said I had a lot.

I was banded in 09 and am having my band removed in Sept. my surgeon said it barely slipped but my reflux was so bad they had to take out most of the fluid. I have already gained some weight and I have been strict on WW trying to maintain. Hoping to have the sleeve in November. I am angry too and fear having it out because of the weight gain. My self esteem is soo low right now it's depressing. Nicole I hope you start to feel better. You aren't alone .

You know I'm honestly not sure if it is choice plus. We got this insurance for the first time it honestly confuses me haha. I currently gave the gastric band and need to have it removed due to horrible reflux etc and I am curious to know if anyone has had to do the whole six month pre surg requirements again since I have technically already done it first time around. .

It's called UMR and they are a part of UHC!
