I've struggled with weight since I was a small child. I fluctuate non-stop, eat for emotional reasons as well as compulsively. I have size 6-16 clothes in my closet. I have been on every diet, taken every pill, tried everything... & actually did succeed in 2009-2010 with the help of a weight loss doctor & Bontril... But then went through a divorce, quit smoking, had a baby in June 2011, & now... I find myself extremely out-of-control. I've been breastfeeding, so couldn't take any medications. I finally see that I need to find a permanent solution... I am so tired of fighting this battle. I have chosen LapBand because I know that I do well on diets, etc...until my overwhelming hunger takes over. It runs my life!! I think if I have help with the monster-hunger, I can do this!! I am not 'myself' when I am struggling like this. I am 'myself' when I am healthy.
