  1. You should be just about through it. I'm assuming your having caffeine withdrawal.
  2. Great attitude, 2 weeks is a very fair price to gain back the rest of your life.
  3. Umm, I don't even have a before pic.
  4. Well, it's not the worst I've seen. But you are giving up 16 carbs and only beget ting 4 protien. At this stage you really should be getting at least 2.5g protien per carb I'd really like to see the info on what you are looking at mixing with it.
  5. Just wondering, what did you eat/drink that had so many carbs for the limited protien?
  6. Heck yeah, that's great!!
  7. Go to "edit your profile" This is what it looks like in safari. Should be the same in all full browsers. Nobody steal my title8)
  8. If you just cannot stand protein powders, I mean to the point that it keeps you from taking them I would suggest trying Chike meal replacements. You are gonna sacrifice a few calories, but they are very palatable the banana actually tastes like banana pudding to me.
  9. Syntrax advertises that their Nectar® protien can be eaten straight without mixing it. I've never tried. One thing I have done however is mix minimal coconut or almond milk into a chocolate flavored powder to the consistency of pudding and eat it in a few spoonfuls.
  10. How long have you been "stuck" at this weight? Stalls are completely normal. Do you know your daily caloric intake? Chances are that your body is just adjustng to the weight already lost, and you will start losing again soon. BTW, be careful with the Chike, it is good, but it is not a Protein supplement. It is a high protien Meal Replacement. It has more calories than your protien supplements do.
  11. Whoo hoo!! That's great...... Ouch, this means that you're gonna need new clothes for court soon. But I bet that's a problem you'll be just too happy to have.
  12. One feature of the site is that it automatically "follows"/"subscribes" you to any thread that you participate in. If you want to "follow" a thread that you didn't post in then click follow and it will add it to your "new content" tab. Sorry I didn't explain it better. I had to open the forum in safari and play with it a minute to understand it better.
  13. When you "follow" a topic it adds the thread to your subscribed threads section. I'm not sure how that is shown on pc but it's pretty handy on the iPad.
  14. I think the reason more don't eat this way is because to do it correctly you can't just pick everything up at the grocery store. It take a bit more effort, and for many it is cost prohibitive. Most people today believe the huge portions are needed. That and we've really become accustomed to all our garbage food.
  15. Tobasco IMO really has no real flavor. It's just hot. If you want a really good hot sauce try Cholula. You'll find it in the Mexican food section, it has a wood ball as a cap.
  16. Most convenience stores & better grocery stores have it now, it is also available in health/naturalist stores. I buy mine through amazon by the case. It's not cheap, but oh so good. I pay 25 for a case of 12 (16oz cans) and free shipping. Or 6 32oz cartons is the same price. Same price per oz, but it does taste a bit better from the carton. The can is just more convinient for me, and recyclable.
  17. It has the thinnest consistency I've seen in a protien mix, very close to water. (definately thinner than skim milk) No, I don't think it taste like crystal light. It seems to have a fruitier flavor than crystal light To me crystal light has a somewhat harsh taste from the aspartame. Being a whey protien drink, it does have a bit if a "milky" undertone. Which is why I'm so picky about them. I just think certain flavors work better with this than others. Another flavor you might try is the Caribbean Cooler this one gets good reviews. The only reason I don't like is because it has a distinct sweetened coconut taste to it (like pniã colada) that I just don't like.
  18. Hmmmmmmm, I've always said Never take financial advice from broke people Never trust a skinny chef Now I can add........ Never trust an obese bariatric surgeon.
  19. This is gonna be fun. I'll give you a few. Unjury- I like their chocolate splendor, & their chicken Soup flavor. The chicken is great when your tired of all the sweet stuff *uses pure whey protien isolate Nectar® by Syntrax- these have a few fruitier flavors. I like the fuzzy navel & cherry flavors best *uses pure whey protien isolate Chike meal replacement- this taste better than the other two but has more calories since it is more than just a protien supplement. *uses whey Protein isolate & whey protein concentrate Premier Nutrition- this one is all about convince & taste. It uses multuple lower quality dairy based Proteins.
  20. Let's try to get some perspective here. When was the last time you lost 40lbs? How tall are you? What was your start weight? Even if your weightloss dropped to 1/2 the rate it has been, you will have lost 100lbs by your 1 year mark. How much exercise are you getting? And be aware, a big part of your emotional state right now is because you are losing weight. All that fat that is coming off is releasing more estrogen into your system You are doing just fine. Can you do better? Maybe, that is really up to you. Don't try to make this a race, this is a life thing.
