  1. Don't use it as a substitute for water, but a can every other day won't hurt.
  2. Try drinking some coconut water. Great low cal source for potassium. Just dont get the sweetened stuff.
  3. Sweet, I see it moved again. Woot woot!!
  4. S.O.P. for TJ. surgeries is a driver picks you up @ San Diego airport. And they drop you back there before your return flight.
  5. Oh Dayum, that's what all this sneezing is all about. I couldn't figure it out. I'm not allergic to anything & I've been sneezing my butt off.
  6. 1st things 1st. If you have enough stomach acid that you can "feel" it and it is causing problems, you need to see your Doc. In all likelihood you PPI is eithe not strong enough or might even need a different brand. Secondly I do agree with the others when it comes to shakes in the morning. My newest is: 6oz-mango purée (Bolthouse or Naked) 45g-50% hemp Protein powder (Nutiva) 1.5tblsp-chia seeds 3oz-water(preferably crushed ice) shake in a Blender Bottle, and shake periodicly
  7. Yes, it is most commonly thought to be due to a lack of Protein in the early post-op stage. Usually happens at about 4 months. It is temporary, and some have even reported thicker regrowth.
  8. According to my research the black has a bit more antioxidants, whereas the whitis slightly higher in Protein. The difference is really so minimal tgat I don't think it really matters. I think if I were trying for maximum health benifit I'd go for the black because I already get plenty of protein.
  9. I just started them. The primary purpose for me is they relieve constipation.
  10. I'm wondering how many chia users there are here & what you are paying for the seeds. I just got my first bag (1lb) and they were kinda expensive. I found a place in AZ that will wholesale them to me but I'd have to buy forty four 1.5lb bags.
  11. There is really only one sleeve. DS (duodenal switch) is a malabsorption procedure that can be performed in combination with the sleeve. It basicly bypasses part of your intestine. Thus making the 2 procedures together somewhat similar to gastric bypass
  12. Make a list of your preferred beverages & then try them staring with your favorite. You have 6 weeks for experimentation. Just remember, you won't likely have much of a tolerance.
  13. O.T.R. sleever replied to Jenhort's topic in Soft (stage 3)
Tuna is best sliced thin & eaten raw.
  14. I'm 4 months yesterday. But as long as you are on full foods the chia seeds are fine.
  15. I take colace daily, but I am getting ready to start chia seeds.
  16. They do get bigger, but that costs extra.
