That is crazy. I'm an RN and I don't understand why they would exclude u just because of this surgery.

Everyone that I tell about having surgery seems to think I can lose weight on my own without "doing something so drastic". I have honestly tried before. I have lost before,but I always gain it back plus some. Did your family and friends support you in your journey to have the sleeve?

Thanks. I actually wanted to have the band when I went to the seminar, but after listening to all the presentation I decided on the sleeve instead. Plus alot of people at the support group meeting had to have their band converted to a sleeve or bypass. Dr. Schmitt is so nice. I haven't met Dr. Miles yet.

Hello everyone!! I am just starting the process for my sleeve. Not looking forward to the 7 month wait, but atleast it will give me the chance to be totally prepared. I also look forward to all the things I will learn from each one of you in this forum.
