  3. Well I'm 21 and now that I'm more adjusted to this life style it is easier but at around 2 months I was depressed. It was hard seeing others eat. As for the the surgery itself I still get anxious about hurting my stomach and stretching it out but I still can't eat much and I'm full off go my protein shakes for a good 3 hours. I'm still working on the snacking issue, and drinking more water, and getting in all my protein/vitamins but that is just me. I am 6 months post-op now and things are still tricky for me but I would do it all over again. You really have to put the sleeve first to be successful. Good Luck
  4. I like beneprotein, it's unflavored and whey protein isolate which my NUT wants me eat/drink. I like it because it is easy to get in, and I mix it with silk light chocolate.
  5. I'm sending out good vibes to you Good Luck!
  6. I don't but I remember waiting and calling in for updates. It was very stressful. But now I'm 6 months post op and it feels like everything happened so fast.

  16. "Nut up or shut up" lol that movie was to funny! I'm not a fan of walking but I love the concept of being able to run. Baby steps
  17. I hear people already telling me not to lose too much weight because I will look sickly. But I think that can be avoided with taking vitamins/water/protein. I'm 21 so I'm hoping that will help too. But I am going to start therapy, and hope it will help with the whole adjustment. Good Luck

  20. Hi, I'm sleeved! I remember them putting me to sleep then next thing I know I'm in the recovery room. In the recovery room I was so medicated I don't recall much and the pain was not bad at all for me! It just felt sore and like a tummy ache. I slept a lot afterwards and the nurses would check my vitals and take my blood. The Heprin shot burns but for 45 seconds. It hurts to get out of bed, but I walked twice last night. I just went to take my leak test and I passed! I'm waiting for the nurses to bring me some clear diet food. I don't have gas pains but I've been farting lol and burping. If I tolerate the Clear liquids, I can go home today. But I wouldn't mind staying another night, the nurses are great and my bed is comfy haha Thank you for the prayers and well wishes And I hope everyone surgery a went well!

  22. Hello, They just put in my IV, that did not hurt, now I'm 2 patients away from being Sleeved! My moms with me and I'm not to nervous. I will keep you all updated Pray, wish me luck and all that good stuff! Thank You
  23. Hello, This is my first blog. Well I am here at my hotel, it is not far from the medical center I am getting sleeved at. I am on clear liquids, I have a headache but I'm not moody. I am emotional, and I switch from being excited to absolutely terrified. I just need to keep myself in check. I need to remember why I am doing this, and that I am embarking on a journey that will have really good days and bad ones. Surgery is tomorrow, in the morning, and at a COE. I thought the hospital would be a little bigger but I thinks its good enough haha but that should be the least of my worries. I trust my surgeon, and I trust that whatever lies ahead of me is meant to be. I will try to keep this updated lol but I am a procrastinator.
