  2. We do but they are called Wheat Thins haha http://www.nabiscoworld.com/wheatthins/ I'm going to try some with tuna, that sounds tasty I'm not great at building recipes.. Sorry.
  3. Hey Dooter I'm actually looking into Dr. Kim! El Paso is my 2nd choice. How was it traveling to Dallas?
  4. I have UHC and they are good but my Mothers job has it where only 80% is covered.... I'm upset about that and hope everything works out fine.
  5. Hope your surgery went great!
  6. Haha yup! I'm from the 505 I love Dions but haven't dined in there for awhile..
  7. That's so great Dooter! I remember eating at Dions with one of my really skinny friends and just feeling depressed at how she could sit their comfortably, while I was turning blue... Can't wait for those days where I can be normal and comfy :,)
  8. I love diet coke that's why I'm slowly drinking less during my 6 months of supervised weightloss. I also understand this forum is filled with many personalities and sometimes it is hard for others to show their concerns. This is suppose to be a support group not a " your a fatty so don't give me weightloss tips" group. I hope everyone is happy and healthy!
  9. Thank You everyone you gave me some great advice. You all rock! The support here is amazing and I have more research to do then I realized
  10. My mother went to a WLS seminar and told me she doesn't want me to get sleeved. She was saying the band is better and they fixed all the problems with it. I want the sleeve still but she was talking about leaks and how there aren't any long term results that can guarantee my safety down the road. Leaks and my stomache expanding scares me. I'm 20 and have been trying to lose weight since I was very young. I feel like it would be best if I could lose the weight by myself but feel like I'm not very good at that and need the assistance of a sleeve. I did hypnosis at 11, weight watchers at 13, and diet pills 15-17! Also I want to have children in the future and worry the sleeve will stop me. Im in a really dark place right now and extremely frustrated. I guess the surgery really scares me, and I'm more afraid of it being all my fault, that I'm going to be a forever fattie in my mind and it's going to be a constant struggle for the rest of my life :/ sorry if I sound like a whining brat. Any advice is welcomed
  11. Thank you Kimmy*Custis Hopefully my insurance is the same!
  12. I have a different insurance co. but I hope you find some answers
  13. Hi, I'm 20 and I called my insurance company (UHC Choice Plan A) back when I was 19 and they said I couldn't get any type of WLS until I was 21.. I just got off the phone with them and they told me I can do the 6 months of supervised dieting. But they didn't really answer any of my other questions like nutrition classes and psych evals. I turn 21 in Oct and really want to get sleeved in Dec due to school. Am I being unrealistic about being sleeved in Dec? Do nutrition classes span over 4-6 months?
  14. I live in Abq! And very close to RR
  15. I'm in the very beginning stages, and live in NM. I guess there are no bariatric surgeons here?
