I will be post op 3 weeks on Tuesday June 26th. Down 14 lbs........have no restriction and possible fill on July 5th. had daughters bday yesterday and ate cake........felt awful after. Im going back on protein shakes tomorrow and starting my exercise tonight! Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I also had hernia repair same day, so that has restricted my eating as well. Hope to keep loosing but knowing there is no restriction is the devil, bc I know I can eat more............................

I was banded on 6/5 and had hernia repair same day........now the tightness I feel is the gas they blow you up with to be able to see in your abdomen. I looked pregnant mine was so big. Iseen my doc today and he said I still had a lot of gas and fluid and advised me to take HCTZ 12.5mg. But to be sure and get my liquids in . I have dropped 6 pounds from yesterday......just fluid but still feel tight in my belly. IDK, call and ask if you should be feeling all this tightness. It is very uncomfortable.

IDK ..............church family is bringing Pizza over for my family and I am soooo hungry. but stll on clear liquids..........ugh

I gained 12 lbs in the hospital............all fluid of course. They pumped me so full of fluid bc my blood pressure would not stay up but I have dropped six pounds of water since yesterday. Feel hungry today but I am afraid to have more than I am suppose to.

Hey June bandsters. I was banded June 5th but also had hernia repair that day. I am so sore and SWOLLEN. I weigh 12 pounds more than when I went in. They told me it is only Fluid due to the amount of fluid I had to have to keep my blood pressure up.Anyone else have herinia repair? I am so full all the time and havin troublegetting liquids in so doc wants to see me today. Says that he may do EGD to look and see if my hernia repair is what is restricting me so much bc my band has no fill in it right now............... Any thoughts?

Caramel, I was banded on Tuesday June 5th and also had hiatal hernia repair...........ouch. I have to go back to doc to day due to having difficulty getting 2 ounces of fluid down with out feeling so full in my chest.He said I have no restriction yet and seems to think that most pain is from hernia repair.So how are you doing now? Did you have similar experience?

I was banded June 5th, but they also done hiatal herina repair which they say is causing most of my pain. I am soooooooooooo bloated. I weigh 11 pounds more than the morning of surgery. Seen surgeon today r/t coughing up blood clot. Says my swelling is so bad bc they had to give me sooo much fluid to keep my blood pressure up. Today I feel hungry............really hungry but I am on clear liquids for another week. How do you get thru this phase of CLEAR?

I have surgery in two days! I just said today................oh I cant wait to not feel hungry as I ate my sugar free jello.SO excited!
