My husband will NOT take crushed meds. when did your doc allow you to swallow them whole? Thanks judy we keep forgetting to call and ask, then office is closed for the day!

My husband's surgeon is Dr Alanis of League City.

Hi Southeast Texas people! I saw a Buna sleever. A Beaumonter...there must be more! My husband was sleeved two weeks ago and I want to start something special for all you brave, awesome sleevers/WLS people! Get back to me. Want to have first meeting June 19th. Judy.

My husband sleeved on May 31st is doing awesome! Active, walking, working etc. He has his 2 week post op appt today. Secretly I am worried that he is eating (drinking) too much. Examples: Easily drinks EAS protein drink in 5-10 minutes, a bowl of lobster bisque in a restaurant in 15 minutes, bottle of flavored water in 10 minutes, sf pudding cup in 5 minutes. He tells me that he has no discomfort. Also, he watches the food network channel ALOT... he did that before. Tell me what you think of this. You people are awesome!

You all know me now...my husband had his surgery May 31 and is doing great!! He can drink 8-12 oz of water or crystal light in 15-20 mins. I am worrying that he will stretch out his sleeve. Is that possible by drinking too much? Also, he just has some full liquid item every few hours with sf popsicle thrown in as he wants. Is he eating to much??? Ugh...I am obsessing!

My husband has to take bp meds and dibetic meds. I have crushed them and he is still having trouble getting them down. Ideas. How do you do it?
