  1. Way to go everyone!!! I'll be joining you all next week. I need to weigh again before my surgery so I know how much I've lost since my consultation.

  3. Way to go! Keep up the good work. my surgery is next week. I am bouncing off the walls with excitment and nervousness. One thing I learned on the liquid diet/shakes, if you add about 1/4 of a small packet of sugar free jello pudding, it really helps you feel full longer! Oh and taste much better too.
  4. Our surgeries are the same day. Don't be nervous. There are risk as with anything you do in life. When it's your time it's your time plan and simple. It isn't going to matter what when or how. By doing this you have a much better chance at increasing your health not decreasing it. I've been studying it in detail for 3 years. 99% of the time if something goes wrong it's because we've done something wrong. Just follow your doctors orders and you'll do fine. I wish you the best of luck. Please keep in contact.

  7. Day 3 liquid diet and occassional hunger but nothing serious. I think it is more from habit. Before this I had a very set regiment that I ate on as I am a borderline diabetic. So in order to control my levels I became very boring and ate all my meals and snacks at the same time. Now as far as the dumping goes.... yes be ready. It does clean you out.
  8. Oh thank heavens, I am glad I am not the only one going through running to the bathroom during this pre-op!
  9. @Ladybug28 your surgery is the day before mine. Are you surviving the liquid diet?
