  1. Every protein shake I have looks like this and contains about 35 grams of protein which means with the two I have I'm at least at 70 grams. 1cup vanilla greek yogurt 1cup skim milk 1cup berries/fruit 1scoop protein powder.
  2. I actually found that once I stopped eating the rest of the crap I had in my diet that I no longer have the lactose intolerance that I did before and I am now incorporating 2 cups of milk into my shakes everyday.
  3. I have PCOS and I have been and done just about every treatment to lose weight and reverse PCOS. The only think I can tell you is that metformin made me miserable! I've never spent so much time in a bathroom in my life. On top of that I was also developing ketoacidosis and was in so much pain I couldn't touch my right side under my ribs or lay on that side to sleep. If you can avoid Metformin I say do it.
  4. I completely agree. I'm working with TrueResults in Arizona and I don't have a surgery date yet but have started the pre-op diet in the hopes that when we do get insurance approval we can get moving on this quickly. I am supposed to have a protein shake for breakfast, one for lunch and then 6oz of lean meat and vegetables for dinner. I'm absolutely forbidden to have snacks and I have to meet 800-1200 calories and 70-120 grams of protein each day. Can anyone say constipated?? LOL
